I’ve been using the PlumChef 20-Bar Espresso Machine for a couple days now, and I’m truly impressed with its performance and features. Setup was simple, and it looks sleek and professional on my kitchen counter
Functionality:
Perfect for both single and double shots. Froths milk beautifully for lattes and cappuccinos
Capacity:
The stainless steel design looks high-end and feels durable. Very convenient when I’m in a hurry and don’t want to grind beans. Easy controls, buttons are intuitive, and the pressure gauge is a nice bonus for monitoring consistency
I started off with the cheapest espresso maker I could find 5 months ago. I had no idea if I’d like making my own cappuccinos. The original one I bought(not from this brand) was ok but seemed to just be missing something. Best part about it was I could make 8 ounces of espresso in one go.
I decided I love making my own cappuccinos instead of spending $6-$8 bucks everyday at a coffee shop. Did a lot of research and this one just felt like a good purchase fore the money.
It’s a great purchase! I do have to take a little more time and make 2 rounds but the espresso from this machine looks and tastes superior to the cheap maker I previously purchased. Your espresso will have the heart, body, and crème just the way it should. The frother attachment on the side makes perfectly frothed milk to go on top. I honestly wish I had room and the money to store a few of these for the future and to give as birthday/ anniversary/ Christmas/ housewarming presents.
The tank is a great capacity and actually lasts a couple of days is great!
2 drawbacks.
It does not come with a container/carafe to drip espresso into. Use your own cup. I kept the 8 oz carafe from the first one I purchased and use that.
Second, the instructions are pretty terrible. The English instructions are translated poorly. Still, you can muddle through while laughing and get it figured out pretty quickly!
Definitely a great item for a novice cappuccino maker at home. Considering the cost plus tax, 20 morning cappuccinos and it will pay for itself at that point.
Thanks for a great product!
This is the first time using an expresso machine. When I first got it the directions (manual) had a different expresso machine diagram so it confused me.. I watched a bunch of you tube videos and they all have the same buttons so finally I was able to figure it out.... as far as first time pre heat..etc. Now it's easy to work and gives a delicious expresso, cappuccino.
